OUR MISSION

Soar High Academy is driven to create an accepting and healthy environment for children to supplement their school experience and use the tools of academics and athletics to help students develop themselves as individuals. We understand the need for strong education and want to help students train their minds through classes such as Advanced Math, Debate, and Science. In addition, we want to use sports like Basketball, Soccer, Handball, Volleyball, Fencing and Chess to imbue students with the ideals of dignity, responsibility, and competitive excellence, while promoting a healthy lifestyle. Our mission is to empower children and students from all communities and provide them with a place they can safely expand their horizons with the guidance of supportive mentors. We want students to soar above the boundaries set by them and society and go higher than they themselves could imagine.

Board Members

Aida Prudhomme is the CEO and one of the co-founders of this organization. Mrs. Prudhomme is a former professional athlete overseas (she played as a professional player for 12 conductive years. Her background includes almost 13 years in services development for national and international competitions. She has specialized knowledge, expertise, and experience in: services development, developing an amateur athlete for national and international competition, community visibility and networking, public relations, fundraising, asset management, board and staff development, and fiscal oversight.

Aida Prudhomme

M.S. IN ECONOMICS

Mr. Brazil is the Secretary of this organization. He has over 31 years of teaching experience in both elementary and secondary education. Also 10 years of experience in coaching basketball teams for grades 3rd- 8th in the Saint Joseph CYO program. And 4 years as a freshman and Junior Varsity coach at Kennedy High School in Fremont. He has specialized knowledge and experience in the development of basketball skills for 5-15 years-old, and selecting students from the program that make up age-level teams that participate in a more competitive more challenging environment in tournaments.

Ronald Brazil

M.A. IN EDUCATION

Mrs. Goel is the TREASURER of this organization. She is a dedicated parent to an 11 years old child and has worked as a bank financial advisor for over 10 years. Her background includes Reconciling bank statements, managing cash flow, keeping track of budgets within the organization, collecting, depositing, and keeping track of funds, writing checks, and providing financial reports to the committee members.

Juhi Goel

MBA IN FINANCE AND MARKETING

Andrew Prudhomme is a member of the Board of Directors and one of the co-founders of this organization. Mr. Prudhomme was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area; He attended a public school and University in CA. He worked for 6 years as a researcher at UCSD. And he is currently working as a senior software engineer in San Francisco.
